Work you will do

Deloitte’s Human Resources Transformation offering help organizations drive productivity, value and impact through the organization, the workforce, and HR.

• The role will involve possessing strong payroll domain knowledge in Dayforce or in an equivalent product such as SAP, Workday, Oracle or similar applying this knowledge and insights to deliver Dayforce projects as part of project implementation teams
• You will be responsible for designing and configuring Dayforce payroll solutions, ensuring engaging with appropriate senior resources and related workstream to delivery an integrated and client centric workforce management Dayforce solution.
• You will provide Dayforce payroll product knowledge and advice on projects, contribute or facilitate workshops with clients, evaluating and problem-solving complex requirements, advising on or configuring software, and providing ongoing functional advice and team development support
• You will collaborate with colleagues within the Deloitte Dayforce team and support the team growth, development and culture. You will also receive ongoing product training to maintain applicable certifications and keep up to date with the latest product releases.
• You will consider factors such as best use of functionality, alignment to related modules and systems, user experience, and integration complexity to deliver the best value and customer aligned solution. In this role, you will contribute to and collaborate with our highly talented Dayforce consulting team to implement, consult, and advise on Dayforce aligned with project schedules
• You will mainly work with the Deloitte Dayforce Australia based team for Australia and New Zealand client implementations. Your working hours will therefore likely closely align to Australia Eastern Standard time working hours

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 1+ years of proven experience implementing, supporting or client working with payroll solutions.
• Experience in interpreting, formalizing, and communicating requirements in a business analyst or functional consultant role.
• Specialist knowledge in Dayforce payroll or equivalent technology, however ‘hands on’ direct experience in Dayforce would be a major advantage.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
• Tertiary level qualifications in Business, HR, IT or related areas are advantageous.
