Work you’ll do
The SEA Risk and Brand Protection Group is involved in risk intelligence and brand protection activities to support Deloitte’s business growth and also proactively and constructively build relationships with regulators, policy makers and other stakeholders. The Group is responsible for various risk and regulatory processes which include building trusted relationship with our regulators. As SEA comprise 10 countries with varied regulatory and policy making environments, this team also works closely with internal stakeholders to provide support and guidance on relevant matters.
Responsibilities
As a Regulatory and Public Policy Manager, you’ll leverage your analytical, research and investigative skills to:
- Communicate with internal SEA, Asia-Pacific and/or Global leaders on various regulatory reporting and regulatory program initiatives.
- Liaise with regulators, support periodic regulatory audit inspections, including coordination of required information.
- Actively monitor and keep track of regulatory developments in the region.
- Develop materials for internal and/or external stakeholder outreach activities.
- Contribute to the development of communication and learning programmes to provide key regulatory changes and updates.
- Participate in ad-hoc regional projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education in any discipline
- At least 6 years of experience with a professional services organization, preferably with prior external audit or regulatory compliance related experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and manage projects.
- Strong business acumen and interest in regional developments.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Good Team Player
- Deep and sound knowledge of audit regulatory requirements is an advantage.
